When I moved to Switzerland in March 2018, I already had a solid career in dermatology in Brazil. I was a partner at a large clinic and worked part-time at the São Paulo Cancer Institute, where I cared for patients with skin lymphomas and dermatological reactions to chemotherapy drugs.
My medical studies, my medical residency in Dermatology and my doctorate (PhD) were completed at the University of São Paulo, the largest and most renowned university in Latin America.
The move to Switzerland was initially prompted by my husband’s professional reasons. To work in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, I faced the challenge of learning German and having all my diplomas and titles recognized. In March 2019, I was hired as the Clinical Director of Margarethenklinik, a clinic providing aesthetic and regenerative dermatology services at the University Hospital of Basel.
At Margarethenklinik, I treat patients in both aesthetic and reconstructive dermatology, enhancing signs of aging and promoting beauty and harmony.
